Your information, explained
The short version
Your information is never sold, never shared and never used for ads. The AI reads your words only to answer you. You can see, change or delete anything, any time.
What I keep and why
Your account (email and first name), your town or city, your due date and your children's first names and birth dates. I keep these so help fits your stage. Anything you save, like moments, buys and reminders, is kept so you can find it again.
What the AI does
AI helps answer your questions and helps spot when you may need some extra support, so we can point you to real help.
A person isn't reading or reviewing your words. The AI never makes decisions about you, and it never diagnoses. The AI providers we use don't train on your words.
What other mums see
In the Pond, other mums see only your post and the Pond name you choose. They never see your real name, email, children or anything else you keep in Lilypad & Me. Your photos are only ever visible to you.
Health and mood
Health and mood details are special category information under UK GDPR. I only keep them if you say yes first, and you can change your mind in Me › Your information at any time. I store what you asked about, never a diagnosis.
Your children's details
We only keep each child's first name, birth date and the topics you're interested in, so we can help you get ready for each of them. We never use them for anything else.
Sending and receiving care
Premium mums send hugs and treats only to mums who have accepted a connection into their Pond. The recipient sees the sender's name and note. Free mums can receive and open them, but cannot send. The current voucher checkout is a sample and takes no payment.
You share your own private Pond acceptance link by WhatsApp, text, your own email app or another channel. Lilypad & Me does not send an invitation email or look anyone up by email, name or phone number. The link lasts 24 hours, works once and is replaced when you make a new one. Gifts sent in the app appear on the recipient's Today screen and in Alerts.
We count how many gifts are sent, opened and thanked for, to see if the feature helps. Those counts never include names, emails or notes. If you close your account, gifts you were sent are deleted, and gifts you sent no longer link back to you.
How long your information is kept
You choose how long: 3 months, 1 year or until you delete it. Error logs are deleted after 30 days, Pond reports after 12 months, data download links after 24 hours, and closed accounts (including stored files) within 24 hours.
Your rights
In Me › Your information you can download, correct or delete your data, switch off Memories, withdraw any choice, and close your account. See exactly what we store in your browser on our cookies and storage page.
